41 Weeks

I want to apologize for the insane hair Benjamin is sportin in this picture. He had just gotten out of the bath tub and his hair was still a little wet and wild :)
Also-did you notice the orange nose? Some one really likes their sweet potatoes and carrots :)

Happy Fathers Day

It was a pretty low key day around here. David got up this morning to a plate full of donuts and a couple of Fathers Day gifts. And yes...he ate all three! :)














Fun fact-that wrapping paper inspired the color scheme for Benjamin's room. Gotta Love Hobby Lobby!

Matching shoes!!! How stinkin cute is that?!? Added bonus that every pair of shoes purchased, TOMS donates a pair to a child in need. I feel like it's now my duty to purchase a pair for myself!

40 Weeks

Benjamin had his 9 month Dr's appointment today.
23lbs (75th percentile)
29 1/2 inches tall (90th percentile)
47cm head circumference (90th percentile)

So I guess I'll just go ahead and state the obvious... we have a big boy on our hands :) He's healthy, happy, and loving life!
We went to a new Pediatricians office today and I absolutely LOVE our new Dr. He was so great! I'm definitely feel good about the switch.

Weekly's

I really need to get better at posting these as I'm taking them. I'm going to try my hardest to post them on Mondays from now own.

Finally...some hair!

I'm so excited Benjamin's finally getting a head full of hair :) it's about time!!! He officially turned 9 months yesterday. I can't believe his first Birthday is just around the corner

Memorial Day Fun

We decided to host a BBQ on Monday. It was very last minute. David made a few calls Sunday and luckily we had a great turn out. It was super hot out but that didn't stop us, David grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and everyone else helped out with sides. I made a fabulous brownie/peanut butter trifle that will knock your socks off. I'm so mad I didn't take a picture of it!
We sported Red White and Blue for the day :) Hope everyone else enjoyed the day as much as we did!

















If you look real hard you can see the pergola in the back ground. David built it with the help from his Dad and Brother. Actually David was pretty sick the day they worked on it so Brian and Mike did a ton of the work-so a special thanks to them for all of their hard work.
