Sunday Fun Day

David had the great idea to prepare Benjamin for the beach in September by getting him his very own sandbox. He seems to really like it. He only took a fist full to the mouth one time...fast learner!

After a little fun in the sun we decided to take the little guy to the park for some pictures. He was NOT cooperative at all. I don't know if he was too hot or bored or what...but he definitely wasn't a happy camper. Here are a few that turned out semi-descent

I am mildly obsessed with the show So You Think You Can Dance. For those of you that haven't watched it-drop what you're doing Wednesday nights at 7pm and check it out. It's Awesome!
AND wanna hear more good news?!? They're coming to the Lou October 15th!!! Oh what I would do to sit front and center and watch some of my favorites dance their little tooshies off. Maybe my Darling Husband will surprise me with tickets **Hint Hint** :)

Alright, so I'm not gonna lie or make excuses....I'm a little behind on the blog. Sorry guys! After September I should be back in the swing of things :) I've been using every minute of spare time doing all kinds of craft projects. Mostly trying to get ready for Benjamin's Birthday.

Happy 4th!

I'm SOOOO happy the weather cooled down a tad yesterday and today because Saturday was just awful!
We had a pretty low key weekend. Sunday we had a BBQ at Mike and Katie's and then we sat outside with our neighbors and watched fire works in our neighborhood until about 11pm. There was some serious money involved with the neighborhood displays this year.
I made some yummy strawberry cupcakes and to be festive-I made red white and blue chocolate covered strawberries too :)
