Trick or Treat!

Great Grandma Zacher gave Benjamin an adorable monkey costume for his Birthday and I've been counting down the days until he was able to wear it because it is just SOOOOO freaking cute!
Benjamin took a minute to warm up to it though...

But it didn't take long and pretty soon he was rolling around having a good ol time

And this is what I spent a lot of my time doing tonight...fire patrol. Benjamin just wouldn't take no for an answer. He wanted that fire and he wanted it bad!

Best $50 we ever spent! Now I can actually get the dishwasher emptied without Benjamin constantly trying to crawl inside of it!

All you need is a pumpkin and black puffy paint...and Voila-A super cute addition to our Fall Decorations :)

I'm thinking about putting it on the desk in the entry way.

Trip to the Zoo

I'm kind of ashamed to say that we waited until Benjamin was almost a year old before we took him to the zoo :( It was a lot of fun though. But I think Benjamin was more interested in the other little kids there rather than the animals

Apple picking

David and I took Benjamin to Eckerts in Grafton a few weeks ago to pick some apples. The weather was perfect and Benjamin seemed to really get into it.

I originally tried to keep him from eating the apples but I gave up...he was determined to sink his teeth into it.

Of course David could get him up there real high to pick the good ones :)

Does anyone else find this picture as funny as I do? Look at his hair blowing in the wind! Cracks me up every time I look at it!

I can't even begin to explain how good these puppies are! I'm upset the recipe only made 14 :(Oh well...I guess I'll just have to make another batch :)

And to get us even more excited about Fall I put together a little pumpkin center piece. Although I'm kind of thinking about using the lanterns on the front porch instead. Or maybe I should just buy more lanterns...Hmmmm Decisions Decisions!
