We're finally done with Ally's room :) I had a lot of fun with this room, probably because Pinterest is in my life and it's an endless source of inspiration.
I knew I didn't want anything too in your face girly and I think the color combo we went with accomplished that.
The dresser is the same one that we used for Benjamin, but David built a new shelf to hang above it that had a little extra trim to give it more of a feminine touch. We already had the mirror, it used to be in the spare bedroom and was silver, nothing a bottle of white spray paint couldn't handle.
The gallery wall we made is full of frames found at goodwill that we also spray painted.
Thankfully Benjamin didn't completely destroy the crib and we're able to reuse that as well. I was nervous there for a while because he's a pretty active sleeper, he kicks and flips around A LOT! But the crib is still holding strong. We found the rocking chair and rocking horse at goodwill (can you tell we go there a lot)
I love the canvas with the wood letters. I bought all of that from Hobby Lobby. That adorable little teddy bear on the chair is handmade by Great Grandma Zacher.

Baby Girl has a serious stash of clothes. The closet is full and so are all of her dresser drawers. And I cut it off at 0-9 month sizes that we have in her room, we have a huge tub downstairs with 9-24 month clothes. It helps a lot that Ally has a cousin a few years older than her-keep those hand me downs coming Miss Claire :)
So now we're just waiting around for her to make her grand appearance. The room is ready, our hospital bag is packed and in the car, car seat is installed - so C'MON Ally, Hurry it up! :)
Love the room and now she is here to enjoy. Love, Grandma
